2.8.10-16 months old

I am now 16 months old and my vocabulary is expanding day by day. I am now saying: dada, mama, nana, papa, boopie, kitty, all of my animals sounds, up, down, yes, NO, please, bankie (blanket), more, binky, bye-bye, hi, apple and much more. Yesterday when mom came to pick me up at school my teacher (Sheryl) told mom that I had a big smile on my face when I approached her and "kindly" said "Hi stupid!" Of course it's funny but mom and I had a talk about not calling people names...especially when I don't even know what they mean! :)

So many new things!

I had a wonderful Christmas & New Year w/ my friends & family in the year 2009! So many new things I've learned are becoming everyday routines for me. I am always challenging my mom & dad with new obstacles such as: playing in the cupboards full of dishes & my mom is constantly putting them back just so I can pull them all out again. Splashing vigorously in the toilet and causing a flood in the bathroom! Climbing on practically everything I can manage to get my hands on. I am 33 inch. tall now therefore I am able to reach items on the counters that are not necessarily intended for me! I am talking a lot now and my favorite words are: uh oh, no no no no... as I wave my finger at whomever attempts to scold me, uppity (my mom & dad haven't quite figured that one out yet). My favorite song to sing is "Twinkle, twinkle little star." I can count to 5 with a little help of course. I can't wait to see what lies ahead for me in the year 2010!
